Nilnalini Vidya Mandir was established at 1953 as a step for spreading education at Siliguri after the independence of India. Nilnalini Vidya Mandir is located at the heart of Siliguri town near Panitanki More. 1600 students are part of the school and 43 teachers are proudly teaching them by providing them with its own building, Sports ground, well equipped laboratories for science students, computer laboratory, library etc. A large number of temporary and para-teachers are also giving their support to this wonderful School of Siliguri. Nilnalini Vidya Mandir is recognised both by West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) and also West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE). Arts, Science, Commerce all the streams are open for the students of 11th Standard of the School. The medium of instruction in the school is Bengali. Vocational courses for the students of the school who are in 10th Standard or above are also being served by the school now a day.
